10 Things to Check Daily on your Coil Tubing Injector to Avoid Costly Repairs & Downtime

Pan & Surrounding Area
- Inspect pan for foreign debris including but not limited to: r-clips, steel shavings, cotter pins & gripper block bolts

Oil Levels
- Check gearbox lubricant levels, should be ¾ of the way up site glass

Lubrication
- Check to ensure lubrication system is operational

Gripper Blocks
- Inspect and clean gripper blocks
-
Drive Chain
- Look for damaged or missing r-clip
- Inspect master links, which are the marker links; they should be vertical and in the same orientation on both pins

Hoses
- Check all hoses & fittings for leaks, damage or wear

Filter Indicators (Not in Bypass)
- Check filter indicators
- Check frame and base for damage

Grease
- Grease idler sprocket bearings
-
Chain Tension Cylinders
- Ensure they are functioning proper with even pressure on all side
- Check for missing bolts or pins
- Grease around idler bearing
- Inspect that bearings appear to be intact
- Inspect that spacers are still in tact

Arch Alignment
- Visual inspection of arch alignment
- No marks on TBG
- TBG touches rollers
